Selection Sunday is less than six hours away. The field is just about set. Ole Miss’ loss to Vanderbilt in the SEC semifinals leaves the Rebels out of the tournament and Colorado’s victory in the Pac-12 championship eliminates Arizona as well. So rather than breaking down which bubble teams helped and hurt itself and who missed an opportunity, I figured it would be better just to list the 68 teams that are in. Conference champions or presumed conference champions will be in all caps. Conferences with just one tournament bid will not be listed. Xavier’s win over Saint Louis on Saturday has the Musketeers in the tournament, but a loss to St. Bonaventure on Saturday would be a bid stolen. Colorado State is the last team in, but a St. Bonaventure win would put the Rams out of the NCAA Tournament. Here is a look at the teams in the tournament:
Atlantic 10 (3): XAVIER, Temple, Saint Louis
ACC (6): NORTH CAROLINA, Florida State, Duke, Virginia, NC State, Miami
Big XII (6): MISSOURI, Kansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas
