Fish Finding Comfort in San Francisco
After not sweeping the San Francisco Giants in San Francisco since 1995, the Marlins have now done it in consecutive years. The Fish completed three-game sweeps of the Giants in each of the last two seasons. The Marlins have won seven straight overall in San Francisco and the last five have allĀ come by a single run.
Stanton Finding the Power
After 58 at-bats without a long ball to start the season, Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton is finally finding his power. Stanton has now homered in three of his last five games including twice in San Francisco. In Wednesday’s 3-2 win over the Giants, it was Stanton’s solo shot in the 10th inning that lifted the Marlins to victory.
